VERNON D. FUSON DIES IN WASHINGTON

Vernon D. Fuson of Thorp, Wash. died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Seattle, where he had been confined to a hospital for several weeks. He was 77 years of age. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Fuson of Winterset.

Mr. Fuson was born in Madison county and spent his early life in Webster township. Fifty years ago last June he was married to Florence Kijny of this community. They both graduated from the Boone Bible school, and were in evangelistic work until 10 years ago, when they retired.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Binns of Winterset and Mrs. Tina Bogue of Anacortes, Wash.; and four brothers, Lester and Guy Fuson of Des Moines, Delbert Fuson of Tacoma, Wash; and Claude Fuson of Nampa, Ida.

Funeral services and burial were held last Friday in Seattle.
