IDA KELLOGG DIED HERE LAST FRIDAY

Death Comes Suddenly to Winterset Resident for 40 Years

Ida Kellogg, a well known resident of Winterset for 40 years, died Friday night at her home here. Death came suddenly, as she had not been ill. She was 74 years of age.

Miss Kellogg was born at Logan Feb. 22, 1875, daughter of Butler and Ruth Cole Kellogg. She moved to Winterset with her parents as a young woman, but had lived here continuously since then.

She had never married, and her nearest surviving relatives are a brother, U. S. Kellogg of LaJunta, Colo., three nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Anderson's home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. J. D. Stevens. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
