Winterset, IowaSt Charles Baby dies Within Hour
A son was born Sunday, Aug 7, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Allen of St. Charles, but the infant died shortly after birth.
The baby was born at the home of its parents near St. Charles. Its death occurred an hour later at Memorial hospital in Winterset.
In addition to its parents, Charles W. and Jo Harpole Allen, the baby is survived by three brothers, Danny, Randall and Nathan Allen; a grandmother, Mrs. Irma Harpole of Prole; and grandparents, Mrs. And Mrs. Charles Allen of Winterset.
The infant was buried in Mt. Pelier cemetery near Patterson, with graveside services conducted by the Rev. W. C. Trembly of St. Charles.
