Page 3, Column 4Fall on Cellar Stairs Causes Woman's Death-Mrs. Maxine Stiffler Died Sunday of Injuries Sustained to Her Spine in a Fall Two Days Before
Injuries she received to her spine in a fall Friday on the basement stairs of her home, resulted in the death Sunday night of Mrs. Maxine Elizabeth Stiffler of 735 Concord.
Mrs. Stiffler was born in Madison county, Iowa, 22 November 1866. She came to Boulder fourteen years ago. Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Letta A. Moore, Mrs. Sarah Worthing, wife of John Worthing, popular Boulder policeman, Miss Flossie Stiffler, all of Boulder; Mrs. Nettie Kensinger of Brooklyn, Iowa and Mrs. Lucile Wright of Forks, Washington and two sons, Martin Stiffler of Ogden, Utah and William Stiffler, of Hoquiam, Washington. Mrs. Hannah Brown of Boulder, is Mrs. Stiffler's mother. Verner Brown and Frank Brown of Boulder, are brothers, as is Mitchel Brown of Battle Ground, Washington. There is one sister, Mrs. Chalers Lee of Ohara, Colorado. Fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Elder N.T. Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Green Mountain cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mazina Elizabeth Stiffler, who died July 23rd were held at the Seventh Day Adventist church this afternoon at 2:30. Elder N.T. Sutton officiated. Interment was in Green Mountain Cemetery.

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Maxine Stiffler of Boulder, Colorado, who died as the result of injuries received when she fell on the basement stairs of her home. Her spine was injured in the fall and she lived only a few days after the accident.
Mrs. Stiffler was born in Madison county, Iowa, on November 22,1866 and moved to Boulder fourteen years ago. She is survived by five daughters; Mrs. Letta A. Moore, Mrs. Sarah Worthing, and Miss Flossie Stiffer, all of Boulder; Mrs. Nettie Kensinger of Brooklyn, Iowa and Mrs. Lucille Wright of Forks, Washington and two sons; Martin Stiffer of Ogden, Utah and William Stiffler of Hoquiam, Washington.
