DEATH OF PIONEER PITZER RESIDENT

C. W. Henderson Died May 8 in Kansas at Age of 91 Years

C. W. Henderson, a pioneer resident of the Pitzer neighborhood died May 8 at his home near Colony, Kan., according to word received here this week. He was 91 years of age.

Mr. Henderson was born near Pitzer Sept. 19, 1857. He was married here to Etta B. Cowden. They moved to Kansas in 1918, which had since been his home.

He leaves his wife; two sons, Glen Henderson of Parsons, Kan., and Robert Henderson of Colony; two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Clayton of Coffeeville, Kan., and Mrs. Leta Turnbull of Council Grove, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Manerva Margart of Spokane, Wash. One son, Earl Henderson preceded him in death.

Funeral services and burial were held at Colony.
