MAUDE STOLLEY RITES HELD AT MILWAUKEE

Death of Former Local Resident Occurred on Sept. 28

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Brockway Stolley were held Friday, September 30th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frederick Leypoldt, Jr. in Milwaukee. The Rev. Ralph E. Bailey of the First Unitarian church of that city conducted her services and burial was made in the Forest Home cemetery there.

Mrs. Stolley was born in Illinois, April 30, 1873, and came to Winterset with her parents, Benjamin and Lillian Brockway, when she was a child. Here she was married to Hugo Stolley, June 21, 1899 who was in the Grain elevator business. The family then moved to Davenport, and resided until 1914, when they moved to Milwaukee. They later lived in Evanston, Illinois, but after Mr. Stolley's death in 1939, she returned to Milwaukee.

She is survived by their three children, George Stolley of Peekskill, New York, and twin daughters, Mrs. Erwin G. Frank and Mrs. Leypoldt, Jr., both of Milwaukee. She also leaves six grandchildren.
