MARY RUTLEDGE DIES

Word was received here last week of the death of Mary O'Laughlin of Murdock, Minnesota. Mrs. Rutledge who was 60 years of age was ill for only a week. She had gall bladder trouble and pneumonia developed causing her death.

Mrs. Rutledge is a daughter of Terrance O'Laughlin of Winterset and spent her girlhood here. She leaves her husband, Grotus M. Rutledge and their seven children; Mrs. Joe Bass, Joe Rutledge, Mrs. Earl Bass and Patrick, Mary, Mathias and Margaret Rutledge all of Murdock. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren.

Tom O'Laughlin, Miss Della O'Laughlin, Mrs. Agnes Hogan and son Clarence of Winterset and Mrs. Austin Core of Knoxville, left here Saturday for Murdock and attended the funeral services which were held there on Sunday. Burial was at Murdock.

In addition to her husband and children, Mrs. Murdock is survived by her father, three sisters, Miss Della O'Laughlin and Mrs. Agnes Hogan of Winterset and Mrs. Austin Core of Knoxville and three brothers, Tom and Robert O'Laughlin of Winterset and the Rev. M. M. O'Laughlin of Chowhilla, California.
