Winterset, IowaFORMER RESIDENT DIES IN KANSAS
Joe Nolan, member of a formerly well-known family in Union township, died last Thursday, Dec. 27 at Westphalia, Kansas, where he had lived for many years. He had been in failing health for the last year.
Mr. Nolan was born and spent his early life in Union township of this county, but had moved to Kansas about 35 years ago.
He is survived by his wife; six sons, Lawrence, Phillip and Edward of Westphalia, Joseph of Oklahoma, Bill of Texas, and Bernard of Kansas; and one daughter, Mary Agnes, of Kansas City. Three children preceded him in death.
Funeral services and burial were held last Saturday at Westphalia.
