Mrs. Frank Callahan, a native of Winterset, died Sunday in Des Moines at the age of 59 years.
Mrs. Callahan had been a resident of Des Moines the past 29 years. Prior to that she had lived at Winterset and Churchville.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Richard Callahan; and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jeffries, all of Des Moines.
Funeral services and burial were held in Des Moines.

Services for Mrs. Frank Callahan, 59, of 1606 Twenty-first St., will be at 1:30 p. m. Thursday at Hamilton's funeral home with burial in Highland Memory gardens. Mrs. Callahan died of cancer Sunday at home following a two-month illness.
Born in Winterset, Mrs. Callahan had been a resident of Des Moines 29 years, previously living at ChurchviIIe. She was a member of Bethany Baptist church.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Richard: a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jeffries, and four grandchildren, all of Des Moines.
