Word was received here last week of the death of Mrs. Frank Tincher at her home in Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Tincher had a stroke last Friday, and died the following day. She was the former Etta DeBord, and her early life was spent in the Patterson community. Her husband spent his early life on a farm just north of St. Charles.
Their son, Francis Tincher, died on Jan. 2 of this year.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tincher were held at Cedar Rapids.

Etta L. Tincher, wife of Frank M. Tincher, 217 Park court SE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 15 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 5:30 p.m. Saturday following a sudden illness. Mrs. Tincher was born Nov 1, 1894, at Patterson, Iowa, and came to Cedar Rapids from Marshalltown.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Miss Ida Tincher and Mrs. G. Warren Lenning, both of Cedar Rapids, a son, Dale O. Tincher of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Ora DeBord of Grants Pass Ore., Howard DeBord of Bancroft, Wis., and Glenn H. DeBord of Des Moines, and five grandchildren.
Mrs. Tincher was a member of Trinity Methodist church and of the Degree of Honor,
Funeral services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by rev. Allan E. Schoff. Friends may call at the chapel.
