Winterset, IowaED HANDLEY, AGE 84, DIED AT WINTERSET
Ed Handley, long-time resident of the Ord neighborhood, died Friday, April 2 at a nursing home in Winterset. He was 84 years of age.
Mr. Handley had been a resident of Madison and Union counties all his life. After retiring from the farm 10 years ago, he had made his home in Lorimor, until coming to the local nursing home several weeks ago.
His nearest surviving relatives are two stepchildren.
Funeral services were held April 4 from the Watts Funeral home in Lorimor, in charge of the Rev. L. F. Davis. Burial was made in the Clark cemetery.
