November 12, 1992Carrie M. Howard, 75, of Winterset died of pneumonia Tuesday at Winterset Care Center North. Services will be graveside at 1 p.m. Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard lived in the Des Moines area all her life until moving to the care center two years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Church of Christ in Murray.
Surviving are a daughter, Alberta Jones of Winterset; a brother, Grandville Wheeler of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Highland Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
