FORMER MACKSBURG RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Chester D. Reinmuth, formerly of Macksburg, died Sept. 24 at the age of 62 years; it is reported here this week. From 1920 until 1946 her home was at Macksburg, but was living at Redfield at the time of her death.

She was born Sept. 12, 1895, near Bancroft, Nebr. She was married to Chester Reinmuth September 23, 1912 at Sidney, Nebr.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Eldy Reinmuth of Redfield and Ivan Reinmuth of Omaha; a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Love of Yarmouth; five grandchildren; and the following brothers and sisters:

J. M. Martin of Alhambra, California, Mrs. Harold Worth of Dalton, Neb., Harry A. Martin of Denver, Mrs. W. F. Piller of Ogalalla (Ogallala), Nebr., E. L. Martin of Boulder, Colo., Clarence Martin of Wilmington, Calif., Mrs. Raymond Graff of Dalton, Nebr., Clifford Martin of Salem, Ore., and Glenwood F. Martin of Boise, Ida.

Funeral services were held in Macksburg Sunday with burial in the Moon cemetery.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Macksburg Methodist church after the body had been in the Roy E. Evans funeral home “In State” from Tuesday to Thursday. Rev. E. C. Parrott officiated. Music: “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Going Down the Valley”.

Casket bearers: Earl Whitworth, Frank Schultz, Lloyd Holiday, Wm. Thomas, Harmon McKinze and Elva Smith. Interment was in Moon cemetery, Macksburg.

Lunch was served to relatives and out-of-town friends at the IOOF hall in Macksburg by the Macksburg Rebekah lodge. Several Oddfellows and Rebekahs from Dexter attended the service. Eldy Reinmuth is Noble Grand of Dexter IOOF No. 215.

Mabel E. Martin was born September 12, 1895 near Bancroft, Nebraska, the daughter of Herman Martin and his wife Mary Christensen. She was united in marriage to Chester D. Reinmuth on September 23, 1912 at Sidney, Nebraska.
To this union four children were born: Eldy Verle, who has been living with his parents in Redfield; Arley Ivan who is married and living with his family in Omaha; Phyllis, now Mrs. Lloyd Love, living with her family at Yarmouth; Julia Marylea who passed away in infancy.

Mr. and Mrs. Reinmuth moved to Macksburg and made their home there until 1946 when they moved to Dexter. In 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Reinmuth and Eldy moved to Redfield, their present home.

Mrs. Reinmuth passed away September 24, 1957 at the Dexter hospital as the result of a heart attack. She had for some years been suffering from diabetes. She was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church.

Survivors, in addition to her three children, are five grandchildren: Linda Kay, Daniel Eugene and David Verle Love, Stepehn Noel and Lawrence David Reinmuth; three sisters: Mrs. Harold J. Worth of Dalton, Nebr., Mrs. W. F. Piller of Ogallala, Nebr., and Mrs. Raymond Graff of Dalton, Nebr.; six brothers: J. M. Martin of Alhambra, Calif., Harry Martin of Denver, Colo., E. L. Martin of Boulder, Colo., Clarence Martin of Wilmington, Calif., Clifford Martin of Salem, Oregon and Glenwood Martin of Boise, Idaho.
