Winterset, IowaFORMER RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Lula E. King, a resident of Winterset most of her life, died Jan. 16 at the home of her niece, Mrs. Pearl Claflin, in Alhambra, Calif., according to word received here.
Miss King was 83 years of age. She was born at Peoria, Ill., Feb. 9, 1864, but most of her life was spent in this community, until going to California 17 years ago. She was an aunt of Ray King of Winterset.
Funeral services were held at Alhambra Jan. 19, with burial in the San Gabriel cemetery.
