MRS. EMILY MYERS DIES IN COLORADO

Mrs. Emily Myers, formerly of the Macksburg community and last remaining member of the family of the late Jackson and Martha Barker Hasty, died June 27 at her home in Lamar, Colo., according to word received here last week.

She was born Dec. 12, 1867, in Macksburg, and spent the first 20 years of her life there. She was married there in 1887 to Isaac H. Myers of Macksburg. They moved to Colorado shortly after their marriage. They operated a drug store in Lamar for many years, and she became a licensed pharmacist in that state.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters; a son; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
