MRS. ALICE WALTHER DIES

Mrs. Alice Cary Walther, former Madison county resident, died at her home in Scarsdale, N. Y. Sunday, May 28th at the age of 86 years after a brief illness. Mrs. Walther was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Boyd of Winterset and lived here until she was married. Since then she lived in Brooklyn, N. Y. until two and a half years ago when she moved to Scarsdale and lived with a daughter, Miss Etta Walther. She also leaves another daughter, Mrs. Raymond E. Caller of Scarsdale. The husband and father, Charles Walther preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Mrs. Walther were held May 39th, in the afternoon from the Scarsdale Community Baptist church with burial at Ferncliff.

Surviving besides the daughters are three grandsons, Eugene Von Wening, son of Mrs. Caller and Douglas and Charles Dayton, sons of another daughter who died some years ago.
