MRS. GLEN FREY DIED SATURDAY

Former Marguerite Agan of Winterset Had Been Ill Five Weeks

Mrs. Glen Frey of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Madison county, died at the University hospital in Iowa City last Saturday, April 10, after an illness of five weeks. She was 30 years of age.

Mrs. Frey was the former Marguerite Agan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Agan, now of Winterset. She was born in Madison county June 14, 1917. She attended the Winterset schools and graduated with the class of 1935. After that she was a rural teacher here for several years.

She was married to Glen Frey at Grant City, Mo., on May 8, 1942. She lived in Winterset while her husband was in military service during the war, and after his return they moved to Cedar Rapids.

She was an active member of the John Huss Methodist church at Cedar Rapids, serving as pianist for the church.

Surviving are her husband; her parents; a brother, Everett Agan of Peru; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Russell of Winterset.

Funeral services were conducted from the Winterset Methodist church Monday, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. G. L. Hufstader, assisted by the pastor at Cedar Rapids, the Rev. Ruth Husband. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
