She Had Lived in Madison County for Sixty Years

Mrs. Dora Nickle, long-time resident of Madison county, died at the state hospital in Clarinda Thursday, Aug. 10 at the age of 87 years.
Mrs. Nickle had lived in Madison county for 60 years, most of that time in and around St. Charles. She was active in the Methodist church, and in the Woman's Relief corps as long as it existed here.
She was the widow of J. K. Nickle, who died in 1927. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Cox and Mrs. Ruth Debord; a grandson, Earl Debord; and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held Friday from the Methodist church here, in charge of the Rev. Mr. McLean, of the United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
