IRA YOUNG, AGED 76, DIES AT ST. CHARLES

(St. Charles--Special)

Ira C. Young, a life-long resident of the St. Charles vicinity, died at his home in St. Charles Sunday, April 2 at the age of 76 years.

Mr. Young was the eldest son of Robert Milton and Mary Elizabeth Kennard Young. He was born in Madison county May 31, 1873.

He had been a member of the St. Charles Methodist church since 1925.

Nearest surviving relatives are a sister, Linda, with whom he made his home, and a brother, William R. Young.

(Burial was in the St. Charles cemetery)
