MRS. EARLE COHEE DIES

Mrs. Earle Cohee of Macksburg died at the Winterset hospital on Thursday evening June 22. Mrs. Cohee entered the hospital on Sunday and underwent an operation from which she was doing nicely until Wednesday morning when complications set in causing her death.

She is survived by her husband and six children, Wilma, Ethel, Ivan, Elva, Oren and Glen; her mother, Mrs. Lura Hern, sister, Mrs. Roy Messerole and brother, Walter Hern of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church conducted by the Rev. Myrtle Wolfe assisted by the Rev. Osborne. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.

Mrs. Cohee was a member of the Christian church and was an active worker in the P.T.A., the church and the Woman's Relief corps of which she was president at the time of her death.

Mrs. Earl Cohee

Janet Amelia Hearn, daughter of W. D. and Lura Hearn, was born November 25, 1885 near Kingsley, When about a year old, she moved with her parents to Pierson where she grew to womanhood.

She was married to Earl L. Cohee February 9, 1910. On February 20 of the same year they united with the Church of Christ at Pierson. Her death occurred in the Winterset hospital June 22.

She is survived by her husband and their children, Wilma, Ethel, Ivan, Elva, Oren and Glen; also by her mother, a sister, Mrs. Willye Messerole, both of Pierson, and a brother Walter Hearn of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Funeral services where held Sunday, June 25 in Macksburg where the family has lived some time, at two o’clock at the Methodist church, conducted by rev. Wolfe, pastor, assisted by rev. Osborn. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
