CAPT. BURR NICKLE SERVICE THIS SUNDAY

Graveside services with Masonic rites for Capt. Burr Nickle of West Palm Beach, Fla., will be held at the Winterset cemetery this Sunday afternoon, March 2.

Capt. Nickle, a famed explorer, adventurer and motion picture producer, died Feb. 17 at the age of 73. He is the father of Mrs. Carroll Meyer of Van Meter.

Mr. Nickle made two trips around the world in the early 1920's for Pathe News, and later produced some of his own movies in Hollywood. He also holds the world's speed record for Fiat car racing and has participated in Indianapolis speedway events.

Funeral services for Capt. Nickle were held Feb. 20 at West Palm Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer attended the rites.
