Winterset, IowaFUNERAL HERE FOR TRAFFIC VICTIM
Funeral services will be held this Friday in Winterset, for Gary Howard, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Howard of Des Moines, who was killed in Des Moines Tuesday when hit by a car. The rites will be held at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home. The Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church will officiate.
The boy was fatally injured in the accident which occurred on Army Post road.
The boy's mother is the former Doris Mae Peterson, who was reared in this community. He was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Nicholson, formerly of Winterset, and a great grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ewick of Winterset.
