Services for Cleo D. Roy, 89, St. Charles, who died April 1 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital at Centerville, were held Thursday, April 6 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. James Patrick of Indianola officiating. Burial was at the Hooten Cemetery.
Born in Madison County on Oct. 15, 1899, he was the son of David and Della Mae Wright Roy. He was a farmer and lived the past four years at his sister's home in Centerville.
Survivors include brothers, George Tracy of Norwalk, Raymond Tracy of St. Charles and Wallace Tracy of Osceola; sisters, Jessie Roy of St. Charles, Fay Action of Kirksville, Mo., Fern Kirkpatrick of New Virginia and Irene Smothers of Cincinnati, Iowa.
Mr. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and a sister.
