JASPER ROBINETT DIES AT LORIMOR

Former Barney Resident Drops Dead on Lorimor Street

LORIMOR--Jasper W. Robinett, a former resident of the Barney neighborhood, died Friday, Sept. 28 at Lorimor, where he had made his home in recent years. He was 69 years of age.

Mr. Robinett had been in failing health for some time, but his death came suddenly. He was talking with a friend on a Lorimor street when he slumped to the ground and died of a heart attack.

He was a native of Salem, Mo., where he was born April 26, 1882. His active life was spent as a farmer in Madison and Union counties.

Mr. Robinett is survived by his wife; two sons, Harold Robinett of Lorimor and Archie Robinett of Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Manera Heath of Gowrie and Mrs. Vera Lord of Lorimor.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Lorimor Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. Allan Tibbetts, assisted by the Rev. Mr. McVety. Burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.
