Funeral services for Roger W. Olson, 47, were held March 18 at the Royal Oaks Assembly of God Church in Sun Prairie. Mr. Olson died March 13, 1993, as the result of an auto/pedestrian accident.

He was born on May 9, 1945, in Marinette, Wis. the son of Hugo and Hazel Olson. He married Bonnie Burgmaier February 2, 1974, in Afton and later moved to the Rio area in 1976. He was a guidance counselor and teacher for 19 years in the Marshall School District in Rio. He attended DeForest Evangelical Free Church.

Surviving relatives include his parents of Madison, Wis.; his wife and two sons and two daughters, all at home and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ernest and Margaret Burgmaier of Winterset.
