MRS. FRANK EGGLESTON DIES AT DES MOINES

Four Years of Illness Ends for Former Patterson Resident

Mrs. Frank Eggleston, for 30 years a resident of the Patterson community died Friday, July 6 at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines. Her death followed a lingering illness of four years. She was 60 years of age.

Mrs. Eggleston was the former Lauretta Egan, and she was born at Stuart. Most of her married life was spent north of Patterson, until moving to Des Moines two years ago.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mary and Margaret Eggleston and Mrs. Kathryn Lang of Des Moines, and Mrs. Betty Reimann of Booneville; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine O'Brien of Des Moines and Mrs. Margaret Nevins of Beaumont, Tex.; three brothers, T. M. Egan of Des Moines, Edward Egan of Gary, Ind., and W. J. Egan of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and one granddaughter.

Rosary services were held Sunday from the Caldwell-Mellhon-Brien funeral home in Des Moines and funeral services were held Monday from St. John's Catholic church in that city. Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery in the Irish settlement.
