1968A. B. RINGGENBERG DIES AT 79 YEARS
Arthur B. Ringgenberg, well-known Madison county retired farmer, died at his home in Winterset Friday, Nov. 15. He was 79 years of age.
Mr. Ringgenberg was born at Slater May 16, 1889 a son of Peter and Ann Imboden Ringgenberg. He was married at Ankeny on Sept. 12, 1917, to Anna Elizabeth Parmenter. Her death occurred in 1962.
He had been a resident of Madison county since 1937, coming here from near Alleman, where he had engaged in farming also. He was a member of the United Methodist church at Winterset.
He is survived by four children, Mrs. Merville Alleman of Alleman, Robert Ringgenberg of Winterset, Leona Ringgenberg of Des Moines and Dr. John Ringgenberg of Eldora; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Rosetta Stiefel of Hood River, Ore.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the First United Methodist Church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. K. Burham. Burial was made in Lincoln cemetery near Alleman, with grave-side services there Tuesday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Marvin Nygaard.
