Friday, July 22, 1904G. W. Hubbell, of Des Moines, formerly of St. Charles, died at his home on Saturday evening. His remains were brought to St. Charles on Monday, via the C. B. & Q. (railroad) and the funeral was conducted at the M. E. Church by Rev. Barick. He leaves a wife to continue the battle of life alone.

The remains of Geo. W. Hubbell, of Des Moines, was brought to this place on the afternoon train of Monday, was taken charge by the I.O.O.F. lodge and placed in the St. Charles cemetery. A large number of friends were in attendance.

The funeral of George Hubbell was held here Monday afternoon, at two o’clock. He died Saturday morning at the Des Moines hospital. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Herrick.
