MRS. ALICE REITHER BURIED LAST THURSDAY

ST. CHARLES-Mrs. Alice Jane Reither, daughter of Isaac and Emma Coltrane, died at her farm home near Truro Monday, Feb. 16 at the age of 77 years.

Mrs. Reither was born near Truro on Sept. 29, 1875, with the exception of two years in New Mexico, her life was spent in Madison and Warren counties.

She was married Sept. 26, 1893, to Tunis C. Reither. They were parents of two children. Their daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Olive Nicholl died in 1944.

Mrs. Reither is survived by her husband, a son, Boyd Reither of Truro; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Rose Reither of Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Lydie Tusha of Elida, N. Mex., and Mrs. Ola Johnston of St. Charles.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro.
