Ruby Leone Luetjen, 75, of Cole Camp, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006, at Good Samaritan Care Center in Cole Camp.

She was born July 21, 1931, in Winterset, Iowa, a daughter of Arthur Cleve and Zella Florence (Nelson) Jones. On Nov. 7, 1947, in Winterset, she was united in marriage to Wilbert Harvey Luetjen, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Luetjen was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, where she belonged to the Trinity Missionary Society. She was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery, piecing quilts, baking, and reading. She also enjoyed helping on the farm and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mary Lou Donnell-Brown and her husband Jim of Cole Camp, Sharon Bunnell and her husband Don of Pleasant Hill, and Terri Embrey and her husband Rex of Stantonville, Tenn.; three brothers, Clinton Jones of Macon, Ga., Ervin Jones of Winterset, and Neil Jones of Fountain, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Travis Donnell, Melissa Trotter, Michael Flippin, Cheri Heldstab, Kenneth Flippin, Jamie Booth, and Stacy Embrey; three stepgrandchildren, Angela Forrest, Jeffrey Brown, and Phillip Brown; and nine great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp with the Rev. Gary Clayton officiating. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Cole Camp. A prayer service was held Friday, Dec. 8, at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp; visitation followed.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, Trinity Missionary Society, Benton County Home Health, or Good Samaritan Care Center in care of the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
