Des MoinesRalph A. Bumpilori, 88, passed quietly Tuesday, September 30, 2003. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Basilica of Saint John, of which he was a member. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.
Mr. Bumpilori was a life long Des Moines resident. He was a business man who owned Ralph’s Parking Co. He was a WWII veteran and a member of the Marine Corp League, VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Marymae; son, Charles A. Bumpilori of Des Moines; a daughter, Angel Samuels (Rick) of St. Charles; granddaughter, Hannah Samuels of St. Charles; nephew, James Ascione (Carol) of Des Moines; and numerous family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown where a vigil service and rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Caner Society or the Basilica of St John.
