Carl Q. Snyder, 84, Winterset, died March 27, 1987, at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines.
Born Sept. 21, 1902 in Adel, he was in the garage business there for 30 years. He had been a resident of Winterset since 1959 and was a member of the American Legion post here.
Mr. Snyder was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Daugherty of Adel. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Renfrow of Adel and a daughter, Debra Milligan of West Des Moines; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mary Cleveland of Bismarck, N.D.; and a brother, Ferrold Snyder of Ferndale, Wash.
The body was cremated and there will be no services. The family suggests any memorials be made to the Lillard-Miller fund.
