Nathan Ballard, 19, died from injuries sustained in an accident on interstate Highway 35 on Sunday, September 7, 2003. Services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Colleen Dorrian (Rex Wilson) of Dallas Center; father Randall Ballard of Earlham; grandparents, Don and Pat Dorrian of Waukee and Twila Ballard of Oklahoma City, OK and his girlfriend, Courtney Acschliman of Dallas Center. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Ballard.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday and a Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Nathan Ballard Memorial Fund, St. Boniface Catholic church.
