Wilma Naumann, Texas

Wilma Naumann, 90, of League City, Texas, died of heart failure Dec. 9, 2002 at Baywind Village in League City.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Macksburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandra Smith officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.

Wilma Naumann was born Jan. 3, 1912, to Roy and Marche (Coakley) Rogers. She was the great-granddaughter of Caleb and Ruth Clark. A graduate of Macksburg High School, she resided in Macksburg until 1941, when she moved to California. In 1992, she moved to Texas, Wilma had been a clerk for the Prudential Insurance Company for 25 years. She also was a 45-year member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Santa Monica, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, LeRoy Rogers; and five sisters, Lela Adams, Blanch Abrahams, Marie Crawford, Betty Braman and Elsie Rogers.

She is survived by a son, James Naumann of Macksburg and Marina Del Rey, Calif.; a daughter, Jeannie Necessary of Georgetown, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
