Jewell M. McCrea, 100, of Norwalk died of complications of pneumonia Friday at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Norwalk Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at St. Charles Cemetery in St. Charles.

Mrs. McCrea was born in St. Charles and had lived in the Norwalk area 79 years. She was a retired farmer and a member of Norwalk Garden Club. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, making quilts, making pies and playing cards with various card clubs.

She is survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.

Friends may call an hour before the time of services Monday at the church. Brooks Funeral Care in Clive is handling arrangements.
