Wilma F. Myers, 84, of Lemon Grove, Calif., died of cancer May 19, 1998 at her residence.
Funeral services were held May 23 at Lewis Colonial-Benbough Mortuary in San Diego, Calif. Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 26 at Winterset Cemetery with Pastor Jon Gaul officiating.
Wilma Myers was born June 21, 1913 in Madison County to Erwin E. and Ethel M. (Marston) Bond. She lived in Madison County until 1924, when the family moved to Des Moines. She married Paul E. Myers in June 1938. She and her husband then moved to the San Diego, Calif. area where they have since resided.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Wayne of San Diego and Eugene of Lemon Grove; one sister, Ruth Bond of Ankeny; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Collins Funeral Home in Winterset was in charge of the graveside services.
