David Edward Kline, 40, of Altoona, died of injuries sustained in an auto accident July 30, 1995 in Guthrie Center. Services will be today, Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Altoona Funeral Home. A service will also be held at the Salem Lutheran Church in Creston at 3 p.m. Cremains will be buried at the Graceland Cemetery in Creston.
He was born in Creston and had lived 21 years in the rural Van Meter area. He had been a crop manager for Baur Farms. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Creston.
Surviving relatives include his father, D. Reed Kline of Jefferson; his step-mother, Virginia Kline of Jefferson; his wife, Vonna (Houska) Kline of Altoona; two daughters, Jennifer and Tricia Kline, both of Winterset; three step-daughters, Bridgette, Amanda and Libby Long , all of Altoona; and one sister, Peggy Iverson of Johnston.
