Faye McKinney Milligan, 88, died Dec. 18, 2001, at Mount Ayr Health Care Center where she had been a resident for six years.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 20, at Wilson-Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr with Pastor Dwayne Henrichs officiating. Burial was at Moon Cemetery, Macksburg.
Faye Milligan was born Feb. 22, 1913 to Ruben and Christine (Olson) Alsop of Sandy, Utah. In 1934, she moved to Iowa. Faye had worked at the Ringgold County Hospital and Decatur County Hospital for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a great-grandson and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Maurine Schmidt (husband George) of Lorimor and LaDene Brown of Kellerton; a son, Paul McKinney (wife Phyllis) of Diagonal; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
