FLOYD H. STEEN Dies in Missouri

Floyd H. Steen, a well known resident of Winterset for many years, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1969, at a hospital in Creve Cover, Mo. He was 72 years of age.

Mr. Steen was born at Emerson, Ia on Oct. 16. 1897, a sons of Hunter A. and Clara Dixon Steen. He had lived in Winterset since 1926.

Mr. Steen operated an automobile repair shop in this community over a long period of years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene here.

He was married Oc. 7, 1923, to Ruth Benson of Winterset, who survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Williams of Creve Cover, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Lester H. Steen of Lorimor.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, with the Rev. Keith Archer, pastor of the Winterset Church of the Nazarene, in charge. Burial was to be made in the Winterset cemetery.
