Wednesday, August 4, 1943MRS. LESSETTE MILLER OF BARNEY IS DEAD
Mrs. Lessette Miller, long-time resident in the Barney neighborhood, died at her home there Wednesday morning. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Miller had lived at the place where her death occurred for 41 years. She leaves several children.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. this Friday from the Barney church, and burial will be made in the cemetery there.

Mrs. Lisette B. Miller of Barney, died at her home there on Wednesday, August 4, after several months of illness. She was 80 years old. Funeral services were held in the Christian church in barring on Friday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. E. R. Stroud of Lorimor officiated. Interment was made in the Barney cemetery.
Lisette B. Bertschi, daughter of William and Elizabeth Bertschi, was born in Hancock county, Ill., on February 26, 1863. She united with the United Presbyterian church. On June 30, 1881 she married Lee A. Miller will Hancock county, Illinois. To this union seven children were born, Everett and Roy preceding her in her death.
She is survived by her children, Mrs. Nellie Harrison, Mrs. Anna Schaff, Mrs. C. R. Rippie, Marshall and Alfred Miller; her sister, Mrs. Eunice Bicker of Niota, Ill.; and many friends.
