LIFE-LONG LOCAL RESIDENT PASSES

Mrs. Charles Busch Died Sunday at Age of 62 Years

Mrs. Charles Busch, a life-long resident of Madison county, died at her home west of Winterset Sunday, after an illness of several months. She was 62 years of age.

Mrs. Busch was the former Rebecca Myrtle Denney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Denney, and was born near Macksburg on Aug. 20, 1883. She attended the Madison county schools, and was graduated from the Macksburg high school.

She was married to Charles H. Busch on Feb. 28, 1912. They were the parents of three children, all of whom survive.

Mrs. Busch had held membership in the Macksburg, Wesley Chapel and Pleasant View Methodist churches, and since moving to the home west of Winterset had been a member of the Winterset Methodist church.

Mrs. Bursch's father died in 1939, and a sister, Elva Lou, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. James A. Denney, her husband; two sons, Paul R. Busch of Winterset, and Roy L. Busch of Earlham; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Elderkin of Nevada; a brother, Ray Denney of Stuart; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Winterset Methodist church, with the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Samp, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tom Foglesong, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
