RUTH STORCK, Des Moines

Ruth Storck, 71, of Des Moines died of leukemia June 5, 1998, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 8, at Winterset Cemetery with the Rev. Mary Pope officiating.

Ruth Storck was born in Madison County. She was a 1944 graduate of Earlham High School and attended the American Insstitute of Business in Des Moines. She married Bob Storck in 1950. A resident of Des Moines for 42 years, she was a homemaker and member of the Highland Park Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband; her mother, Ethel (Johnson) Henry of Earlham; two daughters, Cheryl Green (husband Rod) of Des Moines and Joan Johnston (husband Ted) of Winterset; one sister, Gloria Ruppert of West Des Moines; two brothers, Earl Henry (wife Patti) of Winterset and Don Henry (wife Nancy) of Earlham; and three grandchildren.

Hamilton's Funeral Service near Highland Memorial Gardens was in charge of the arrangements.
