Mrs. Howard Luckett, the former Vera Lee, died Dec. 1, 1977, at Louisville, Kentucky from a heart attack. Mrs. Luckett was born and raised near Winterset and graduated from Winterset High School.
She was born Aug. 22, 1915, daughter of Oscar Lee and Anna Frech Lee, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Howard, three children, James Lee Luckett, Richard Luckett, and Merry Lynne Luckett, and one brother, Chris Lee of Winterset and nephews and nieces and cousins.
Those attending the funeral at Louisville, on Dec. 3, were Chris Lee, Charles Lee, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Groth from Winterset.
