At Rest at Last

After many months of suffering Mrs. Myrtle E. Nuckolls died at her home Friday evening at 8:20 o’clock. The end had been anticipated for several weeks. Her friends and loved ones were gathered about her bedside and saw her pure spirit take its flight.

Myrtle E. Nuckolls was born Sept. 29, 1882, near Fremont, Dodge Co., Nebraska, and died at her home in Earlham, Feb. 3, 1905, aged 22 years, 4 months and 7 days. She was united in marriage to Thomas Nuckolls in the year 1899. Of this union was born three daughters who with the husband are left to mourn a good and kind mother and wife. The funeral services were held Sunday at 11 o’clock at the M. E. church conducted by Rev. Voorhees and the interment was in Earlham cemetery. She was very patient and hopeful through all her suffering and had a cheerful word for everyone.
