Mamie Libby, Winterset

Services for Mamie Libby, 93, Winterset, who died Feb. 2, at the Care Center North where she resided, were held Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Patterson on June 7, 1894, she was the daughter of Walter and Agnes Russell Brown. She married Frank Libby on Dec. 31, 1913 at Patterson.

Mrs. Libby had lived here since 1971, coming from St. Charles. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church of St. Charles.

Survivors include sons, Ernest of St. Charles, Dale of Peace Valley, Mo., and Elmer of Winterset; a sister, Pearl Speer of Martensdale; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, a brother and a grandchild.
