Memorial services for Lulu M. Leinard, 84, Winterset, who died May 15 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, will be held Saturday May 21 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating.
Born Feb. 26, 1904 in Adair County, she was the daughter of Karl and O'Tillie Kurzhals Popp. On Dec. 19, 1925, she was married to Thomas M. Leinard at the Methodist parsonage at Greenfield.
A homemaker, she had lived in Winterset the past 11 years and moved to Madison County from Adair County in 1968.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Donald and wife Gladys and Carl, all of Greenfield; a daughter, Lois and husband Marvin Brown of Murray; six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a sister.
