Aileen Ellen Lee, 93, of Burleson, Texas died of heart failure Sept. 24, 2001 in a Fort Worth, Texas hospital.

Family burial services were held Monday, Oct. 1 in Westmont, Ill.

Aileen Lee was born Oct. 3, 1907 in Stark County, Ill., to Marion R. and Irma (Evans) Graves. She was 2 years old when she and her family moved to Madison County. She attended the local schools. Aileen also graduated from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon. On Sept. 12, 1937, she married Myron C. Lee in Ames. They made their home in Clarendon Hills, Ill., for many years. On July 12, 2001, she moved to Burleson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by a son, Myron Lee II (wife Cynthia) of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Janice Landale of Denton, Texas; a sister, Zella Edwards of Winterset; and four grandchildren.
