Services for Laura M. Lattig, 94, Macksburg, who died Oct. 27 at the Bethesda Care Center in Winterset, will be held Friday, Oct. 31, at 10:30 a.m. at the Macksburg United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Moon Cemetery.
She was born in Adair County on Nov. 3, 1891, the daughter of Charles B. and Harriett Smith Dorsey. She was married Nov. 30, 1910 to Cyrus Lattig at Anita.
She was a homemaker and belonged to the WRC in Macksburg Methodist Church. She lived in Madison County and the Macksburg area most of her life.
Survivors include a son, Cyrus B. Lattig of Macksburg; daughters, Mrs. Ethelyn Spencer of Winterset, Mrs. Lucy Kirkland of Macksburg, Mrs. Clarice Claypool and husband Kenneth of Casa Grande, Ariz., Mrs. Isobel Duff of Exira, and Mrs. Harriet Garrett and husband Marvin of Macksburg; 35 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, nine brothers, six sisters, and a granddaughter and three great-grandsons.
