George Larson, Winterset

Services for George Larson, 65, Winterset, who died April 8 at his residence were held April 12 at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

Born at Elgin, Ore., on Aug. 19, 1921, he was the son of James and Lillian Boner Larson. Mr. Larson had lived here since 1969, coming from Woolstock, Iowa. He was a former employee of Central Iowa Sanitation Co.

Survivors include a son, William of Pulaske, Tenn.; daughters, Gladys May Larson of Russell, Marye E. Larson of Des Moines, Sharon Larson of North Hollywood, Calif., and Patricia Garza of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Charles of Hillsboro, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
