Raymond Stuart, 73, of Northglenn, Colo., died Nov. 20, 1995 at Castle Gardens Care Center in Northglenn, Colo. Funeral services were held Nov. 24 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with internment at the Highland Cemetery in Thorton, Colo.
He was born in Scott townhip in Madison County on April 13, 1922 to Ralph and Ruth (Garst) Stuart. He married Kathleen Cavanaugh of Storm Lake on Aug. 11, 1947. He was a brick mason. He had served in the United States Army during World War II; he was in communications in Okinawa, Saipan and other islands.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son; and one brother.
Surviving relatives include one brother, Ronald Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.
